When signing up for Beaver Bitcoin we require you to provide us with a Bitcoin wallet address for where we deliver the bitcoin you purchase. If you've signed up for Beaver on your desktop computer, but have created a Bitcoin wallet on your phone, it can be challenging to copy and paste your bitcoin wallet address from your phone to your computer.
Since a Bitcoin address should only ever be copied and pasted (and never typed by hand) we provide a few methods below for transferring your Bitcoin wallet address from your phone, to your desktop computer.
-
Email:
- Copy and paste your Bitcoin wallet address into an email to yourself. This is a simple and universal method. Just make sure your email is accessible on both your mobile phone and desktop computer.
-
Messaging Apps:
- Use messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal to copy and paste your Bitcoin wallet address to yourself. Many of these apps sync across devices, so you can access your messages from both your phone and computer.
-
Note-Taking Apps:
- Apps like Notes, Notion and Evernote, allow you to create and sync notes across multiple devices. Install the app on both your phone and computer, and your note containing your Bitcoin wallet address will be accessible from either device.
-
Cloud Storage Services:
- Save a note with your Bitcoin wallet address in a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox. The note will be accessible across all your devices.
